Mexico investigates U.S. indictment against officials over alleged cartel ties.

The U.S. Department of Justice has indicted 10 Mexican officials on charges of aiding drug trafficking, alleging they accepted bribes and obstructed law enforcement. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum responded by stating her government will investigate the claims and reject the indictment, asserting that Mexico will not allow foreign interference in its internal affairs.
