Former inspector pleads not guilty to 23 felony counts of tampering with food inspection records.
Former East Liverpool food service inspector Alan Masters, 64, entered not guilty pleas Thursday to 23 felony counts of tampering with records.
The charges allege he falsified food inspection reports from May 2024 to April 2025 while working for both the East Liverpool and Salem City Health Districts.
Masters, who previously served as environmental director for Salem, appeared in court on Thursday as the case is now assigned to a new judge.
