Taiwan resumes pork exports to the Philippines on May 14.
Taiwan will resume pork exports to the Philippines starting May 14, following the World Organization for Animal Health's reinstatement of Taiwan’s African swine fever-free status.
The decision allows the Philippines to lift restrictions on frozen pork and other pig products after Taiwan contained a local outbreak in Taichung.
This move follows similar steps by Singapore to allow fresh pork imports from Taiwan.
