Man dies after falling into gorge during Alabama police chase.

A man died Wednesday night after falling into a gorge during a police chase near Noccalula Falls in Gadsden, Alabama. The incident occurred after officers attempted to stop a vehicle for an investigation. While the driver was taken into custody, the passenger fled, jumped over a fence, and fell. Officers and emergency responders attempted to save the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
