The Kenyan High Court has blocked the Consumer Federation of Kenya from withdrawing a lawsuit challenging a US-Kenya health data-sharing agreement. Justice Nyaundi ruled that courts must maintain oversight over public interest cases involving constitutional concerns, specifically regarding privacy and data protection. The case, which also involves Senator Okiya Omtatah, will proceed to a hearing in May 2026.
