Sacred Buddha relics arrive in Ladakh for public exposition May 1.

Sacred relics of Lord Buddha arrived in Ladakh on April 29, 2026, for a public exposition beginning May 1. The event, expected to draw large crowds, includes stops in Zanskar and Leh before the relics return to Delhi on May 15. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Lt. Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena are scheduled to attend.
