Three First Nations collaborate on economic development through a national program.

Greater Sudbury, Atikameksheng and Wahnapitae First Nations are collaborating on economic development through a national program called CEDI. Selected as one of six partnerships, the three communities began an 18-month initiative in late 2025 to strengthen equitable relationships and joint planning. The effort aims to improve quality of life and foster regional prosperity through monthly meetings and workshops.
