A Clacton man turned a lockdown idea into a successful burger business by converting an old garden caravan into Billy's Burger Bar in 2024. Named after his young son, Lee Terry O'Brien spent over a year building the mobile unit himself after losing his job in Nottingham. The business opened just in time for the Euros 2024 and quickly gained a loyal following for its affordable, high-quality food and friendly service. Due to rising demand, the team has now launched a second food truck to serve events like school fairs and festivals, with plans to expand further in the future.
