Chopra cut a song from Veer-Zaara for better narrative flow.
Late filmmaker Yash Chopra explained in a resurfaced interview why he cut the song "Ye Hum Aa Gaya Hain Kahaan" from the theatrical release of his 2004 film "Veer-Zaara."
Despite its emotional depth and Lata Mangeshkar's powerful rendition, Chopra said the track disrupted the film's narrative flow, especially near the climax.
He credited his son Aditya Chopra with advising him to prioritize the story.
The song was later included in the DVD version.
