Residents across South Australia's Mid North marked the 111th anniversary of ANZAC Day with dawn services and community gatherings. The Balaklava Little Athletics club earned national acclaim, while government grants were announced for regional commemorative projects. The community also prepared for a local derby and continues to advocate for the recovery of the Port Germein jetty.
