A bench of Justices Aravind Kumar and N V Anjaria ruled there were no sufficient grounds to review the judgment, emphasizing that evidence suggests Khalid and co-accused Sharjeel Imam played a central role in the alleged conspiracy. While the court granted bail to five other accused, it maintained that Khalid and Imam remain in custody due to the seriousness of the charges under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
