USA Rare Earth to acquire Brazil’s Serra Verde Group for $2.8 billion.

USA Rare Earth agreed to acquire Brazil’s Serra Verde Group for about $2.8 billion, combining the companies to create a vertically integrated rare earth leader. The deal includes $300 million in cash and newly issued shares and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.
