Supreme Court to hear case on Catholic preschools excluded from universal preschool.

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear a case challenging Colorado's state-funded universal preschool program, arguing that a nondiscrimination rule prohibiting the exclusion of LGBTQ+ children violates the religious rights of Catholic preschools. The Archdiocese of Denver and two parishes claim the rule forces them to choose between participating in the program and following their religious beliefs.
