A Texas-based company, AST SpaceMobile, expressed disappointment after a Blue Origin rocket launch failed to place its BlueBird 7 satellite into the intended low Earth orbit. While the rocket's first stage was successfully recovered, the satellite was deployed into a lower-than-required altitude. The company stated the satellite cannot function as a cellular relay and will be de-orbited, though it is communicating normally and may attempt to raise its orbit.
