UK man jailed for running brothels in Birmingham.

A 42-year-old man has been jailed for one year after being convicted of running two brothels in Birmingham. Dongping Xiao, who was living in the UK illegally, was identified as a "minder" overseeing sex workers following police raids in September and February. The Birmingham Serious Organised Crime and Exploitation team gathered extensive evidence, including phone data, to secure the conviction at Birmingham Crown Court.
