A Thai cargo vessel operated by Siam Cement Group successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz after diplomatic efforts involving Oman and Iran secured safe passage, according to Thailand's foreign ministry. The vessel was one of two SCG ships previously stranded in the region. Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow visited Oman from April 15 to 17 to address the issue, highlighting regional diplomacy's role in ensuring maritime security.
