Mural honors Stone Roses bassist Mani in Manchester.

Work has begun on a mural honoring late Stone Roses and Primal Scream bassist Gary "Mani" Mounfield in his hometown of Failsworth, Greater Manchester. The community-led project, organized by Grit Studios, features artist Pic.One.Art painting the tribute at Lafadi’s Pub over five to seven days. Inspired by a call from Ian Brown, the campaign funds Maggie’s Manchester cancer charity, which supported Mani’s wife during her illness.
