Associated Press projects Democrat Analilia Mejia has won the special election for New Jersey's 11th Congressional District seat. The victory fills the vacancy left by former Representative Mikie Sherrill, who left office after being elected governor in November 2025. The district includes parts of Essex, Morris, and Passaic counties.
