Blue Bombers sign former CFL draft pick Taylor Elgersma

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Canadian quarterback Taylor Elgersma, who was selected 18th overall in the 2025 CFL draft. After playing in three NFL preseason games with the Green Bay Packers, Elgersma had UFL opportunities but did not play due to visa issues. The 6-foot-5 quarterback won the Hec Crighton Trophy at Wilfrid Laurier and joins the Bombers as a backup following the retirement of Chris Streveler.
