The World Bank and partners launched Water Forward to provide clean water to 1 billion people by 2030. The initiative aims to bridge the massive funding gap for water infrastructure, which is vital for economic growth and climate resilience. It targets 14 countries and seeks to attract private investment by reforming utilities and de-risking projects.
