Vietnam extends EV registration fee exemption to 2030.

Vietnam's Ministry of Finance has proposed extending a registration fee exemption for battery electric vehicles through December 31, 2030. The policy, set to begin on March 1, 2027, aims to support the domestic electric vehicle industry and advance the country's green transition by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
