Schenectady History Faire commemorates Sir William Johnson with reenactors and exhibits.
The fourth annual Schenectady County History Faire runs Saturday at Proctors in Schenectady from noon to 4 p.m.
The event features reenactors and representatives from Old Fort Johnson, Johnson Hall, and the Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site to commemorate Sir William Johnson, the 18th-century Superintendent of Indian Affairs.
Attendees can view over 15 portable exhibits on local history, including Erie Canal displays and photographs from the 1987 Schoharie Creek Bridge Collapse.
