Florida teen indicted for murder and sexual abuse of stepsister on Carnival cruise ship.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse in the death of his stepsister, Anna Kepner, aboard a Carnival cruise ship in November 2025. Federal prosecutors allege the teen sexually assaulted and intentionally killed her while the ship was in international waters. Initially charged as a juvenile, the boy has now been indicted as an adult and faces a life sentence if convicted.
