Duffy charged in connection with 2006 murder of Sinn Féin informant.
A 49-year-old man from County Donegal has been remanded in custody until June 8 in connection with the 2006 murder of Denis Donaldson, a former senior Sinn Féin official and MI5 informant.
Antoin Duffy, who was extradited from Scotland, faces multiple charges including murder, attempted murder, and possession of a shotgun and ammunition.
Donaldson was shot dead at a remote cottage in Donegal after being publicly exposed as a double agent in 2002.
The Real IRA later claimed responsibility for the killing.
