"The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" held the top spot at the U.S. box office for a second week, earning $69 million to bring its domestic total to over $308 million, making it the highest-grossing film of 2026. It outperformed the previous year's top film, which earned $24.58 million over the weekend, while a new Regé-Jean Page rom-com debuted at number four with $8 million.
