GE Aerospace partners with India to build F404 engine depot.

GE Aerospace has signed a contract with the Indian Air Force to support establishing an in-country depot facility for F404-IN20 engines used in the Tejas fighter jets. The facility, owned and operated by the IAF, will receive technical support, training, and spare parts from GE to reduce overseas reliance and improve engine turnaround times. This collaboration strengthens a four-decade-long partnership and builds on GE's broader commitment to India's aerospace ecosystem through local manufacturing and engineering programs.
