Cedar Rapids restaurant scene sees changes including new owners and closures.

This spring, Cedar Rapids’ restaurant scene is undergoing several changes. Lu’s Deli in the NewBo District will be acquired by Nara Thai owners effective May 1, while Horizons Family Services opens a new cafe in the former Roasters space in early June. Deja Brew at The Pines has opened at 4100 River Ridge Dr NE, and K.C. Cakes & Cajun is closing its downtown location at the end of April while accepting custom orders.
