Former Brewers manager Phil Garner dies at 76.

Former Milwaukee Brewers manager Phil Garner has died at age 76. A three-time All-Star and longtime infielder, Garner played 16 seasons in the majors before managing the Brewers from 1992 to 1999. He later led the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros, guiding the latter to their first World Series appearance in 2005.
