Belfast man jailed for 3 months for attacking PSNI officers with racist and abusive slurs.
A Belfast man, Neil Henry, 32, has been jailed for three months after launching a violent verbal attack on PSNI officers at Castle Court shopping centre in April.
Henry, who has a history of criminal behaviour, hurled racist, sectarian, and sexually offensive slurs, including threats against a female officer and her family, as well as targeting a Black officer with racial abuse.
Judge Gerard Trainor described the conduct as "shocking" and imposed the sentence despite the prosecution not classifying the charges as aggravated by hostility.
