Louisiana man arrested for lying about catching bass to claim reward.

A 40-year-old Leesville man faces attempted theft and forgery charges after allegedly lying about catching a bass in Toledo Bend Lake to claim a reward. Louisiana wildlife agents arrested Jody K. Jeane after finding a social media post showed the same fish he displayed at Vernon Lake. He admitted to catching the fish in the wrong location and is now in custody.
