Arnold disqualified from SD primary ballot for insufficient signatures.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Robert Arnold has been disqualified from the South Dakota primary ballot after the Secretary of State's office determined he did not meet signature requirements.
Although Arnold submitted 1,407 signatures, a random sample confirmed only 1,119 were valid, falling 113 signatures short of the required 1,232.
Consequently, voters will not see his name on the ballot for the upcoming primary election.
