$5M grant awarded to Texarkana for military drone technology development.

A $5 million grant was awarded to a collaborative project in Texarkana to advance military drone technology. The funding, managed by the Ark-Tex Council of Governments, is part of a $26 million statewide initiative supporting military infrastructure and jobs. Texas A&M University-Texarkana, Texarkana College, and the Red River Army Depot will develop training courses and battery technology to strengthen U.S. military capabilities and boost the local economy.
