General Motors is recalling over 270,000 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles from 2023 to 2025 due to a rearview camera defect that may cause a distorted or blank image, increasing crash risk. The issue stems from a weakened adhesive bond allowing moisture entry. Dealers will replace the cameras at no cost, with notification letters expected to begin mailing on May 18.
