11-year-old girl airlifted to Newcastle for life-saving heart surgery.

An 11-year-old girl with a heart condition received urgent surgery after her condition worsened during a family holiday. The National Children's Air Ambulance airlifted her from Liverpool to Newcastle in 48 minutes, saving nearly five hours compared to road travel, enabling her to undergo life-saving treatment. She has since recovered and returned to school and her hobbies.
