The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has reached a tentative four-year contract agreement with major studios, pending member ratification. The deal includes higher streaming residuals, increased funding for the health plan, and new protections against artificial intelligence use in writing. This follows the 2023 strike and precedes upcoming negotiations with SAG-AFTRA and the Directors Guild of America.
