Homes England has launched the £16bn National Housing Bank in Leeds to boost homebuilding and regenerate urban areas. The government-backed bank will provide loans, equity, and guarantees to developers, aiming to unlock over £53bn in private investment and deliver over 500,000 homes. The bank begins with a £100m partnership with Aviva to build sustainable rental homes in Liverpool and Manchester.
