Swift sued for trademark infringement over her album title.

Las Vegas performer Maren Wade has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Taylor Swift over her 2025 album "The Life of a Showgirl." Wade claims the title infringes on her long-standing "Confessions of a Showgirl" brand and seeks a court order to stop the use of the name and monetary damages. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office previously rejected Swift's application for the same trademark.
