A partnership between Apical and the Earthworm Foundation launched its second year of the Sustainable Living Village programme in East Kutai, Indonesia, on February 8, 2026. The initiative aims to restore local ecosystems by planting 30,000 trees in river buffer zones and promoting sustainable cacao farming. Community groups participated in the tree-planting activities, while smallholders received training and cultivation certificates.
