Former EastEnders star Himesh Patel has landed a leading role in The X Files reboot produced by Ryan Coogler for Hulu. The 35-year-old actor will co-star with BAFTA-nominated actress Danielle Deadwyler in the series, which centers on two FBI agents investigating unexplained phenomena.
