Connor McNamee charged with murder of Amy Doherty in Derry, Northern Ireland.

A 30-year-old man named Connor McNamee appeared in court in Derry, Northern Ireland, charged with the murder of 28-year-old mother-of-two Amy Doherty. She was found seriously injured at her home in Summer Meadows Mews on Saturday and later died. McNamee also faces charges for possession of a knife and class A drugs. He appeared in a wheelchair with facial bruising, and no bail was applied for. A vigil is planned in her memory.
