Meghalaya signs MoU with Jal Jeevan Mission for safe drinking water.

Meghalaya has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Jal Jeevan Mission to improve access to safe drinking water. Witnessed by Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma and Union Minister C. R. Patil, the agreement aims to release central funds for rural water supply infrastructure, aligning with the national goal of ensuring every household has safe water by 2024.
