Defense Dept awards contracts to boost missile production.

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced new contracts with defense contractors to significantly boost production of missile systems and components. The Pentagon is working to replenish stockpiles depleted by ongoing conflicts, awarding deals to BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, and Honeywell to increase output of THAAD interceptors, Precision Strike Missiles, and critical navigation systems.
