Synopsys and Arm partner to develop Arm AGI CPU for data center AI workloads.

Arm has unveiled its first in-house AI chip, the AGI CPU, designed for data centers to handle agentic AI tasks. Built on a 3 nm process with 136 cores, it targets high-performance computing. The collaboration with Synopsys provides design tools to optimize performance and efficiency, with Meta deploying the processor later this year.
