Pixies to headline 40th anniversary U.S. tour Sept. 15-26.

Alternative rock band Pixies will perform a series of U.S. headlining concerts from September 15 to September 26, celebrating their 40th anniversary. The tour kicks off in Greenville, South Carolina, and ends in Tucson, Arizona, with tickets going on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time. The band will also perform at the Sea.Hear.Now and Borderland festivals.
