Wisconsin begins $42.7M road projects in March 2026, with lane closures and delays, finishing by fall.
Wisconsin is advancing major road projects in 2026: an $11.5 million resurfacing of 4.3 miles of WIS 190 in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties, starting March 30 and expected to finish by fall, with lane reductions and temporary closures; and a $31.2 million resurfacing and improvement of I-41/94/43/894 through Milwaukee’s Mitchell Interchange, continuing overnight and off-peak with lane closures and detours, also scheduled for completion by fall.
Both projects include infrastructure upgrades and are weather-dependent.
