Vietnam's finance ministry has proposed halving environmental taxes on gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel to reduce costs amid rising global prices. The draft would lower taxes to 1,000 dong per liter for gasoline, 500 dong for diesel, and 1,000 dong for jet fuel. While aiming to lower retail prices and inflation, the plan would reduce state budget revenue by about 68 million dollars monthly.
