Vanderbilt University launched its West Palm Beach campus with an $80 million land gift from Jeff and Mei Sze Greene.
Vanderbilt University has officially launched its West Palm Beach campus with a major land donation from billionaire developer Jeff Greene and his wife Mei Sze Greene, who gifted eight contiguous downtown parcels valued at $80 million.
The gift, the largest to date, combines with prior city and county donations to create a unified campus site near Sapodilla Avenue, enabling a cohesive design for graduate programs in business, technology, and innovation.
The project, which aims to serve up to 1,000 students and 200 employees, is part of Vanderbilt’s national expansion and is expected to boost regional economic development.
Construction is pending final approvals, with a $300 million fundraising campaign underway.
