Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams and Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery, the series, created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, focuses on personal struggles and character-driven storytelling rather than traditional superhero action. The second season will explore the aftermath of the first season’s events, including the duo evading the Department of Damage Control. Production is expected to begin in late 2026 or early 2027, with a potential 2027 premiere.
