China’s Westlake Robotics launches Titan o1, a humanoid robot that mimics human movements in real time using its self-developed AI model.
Chinese robotics firm Westlake Robotics has unveiled Titan o1, a humanoid robot powered by its self-developed General Action Expert (GAE) model, enabling real-time, precise imitation of human movements without time or space constraints.
Demonstrated in Hangzhou, the robot mirrored an operator’s actions—such as waving, turning, and kicking a ball—with millisecond response times and high accuracy in motion details.
The GAE acts as a "general-purpose cerebellum," allowing instant adaptation to spontaneous or varied movements, even for unfamiliar tasks.
The system supports cross-embodiment, enabling deployment across different robot designs and simultaneous control of multiple robots by one operator.
The launch marks a significant step in practical, AI-driven humanoid robotics and reflects China’s growing investment in advanced automation technologies.
