A new report from the Boao Forum for Asia indicates the global center of artificial intelligence development is shifting from the U.S. and Europe to Asia. Driven by large digital populations and coordinated policies, Asian nations are advancing from adopting to shaping global AI standards, while their digital economy reached $27 trillion in 2025.
